After having an amazing rookie season, Connecticut Sun forward Chiney Ogwumike has been named the 2014 WNBA Rookie Of The Year. In just her first season, Chiney Ogwumike averaged 15 points and 8 rebounds a game while finishing second overall in offensive rebounds. Chiney Ogwumike received 23 of the possible 38 rookie of the year votes and joins her sister Nneka Ogwumike who won the award in 2012 and plays for the Los Angeles Sparks as the only siblings to share the award. Congrats to Chiney Ogwumike on being named the 2014 WNBA rookie of the year.
