Over the weekend, the WNBA named a new champion. The Phoenix Mercury led by Diana Taurasi, Candice Dupree and Brittney Griner swept the Chicago Sky (3-0) in the WNBA finals winning game 3 (87-82). Despite playing the game with Griner, Phoenix played poised and focused and Taurasi’s 24 points played to be key in the victory. Congrats to the Phoenix Mercury on winning there third WNBA championship.
