ESPN has announced today that First Take co-host and analyst Stephen A. Smith will be off air on TV and radio for one week.
Last Friday, Smith made comments about domestic abuse that wasn’t received well by much of the public. Smith was addressing Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice’s domestic abuse case and how he didn’t agree with Rice only being suspended two games. During Smith’s rant, he made comments that woman shouldn’t provoke men to hurt them and social media went crazy.
