Did we really think otherwise? After 12 rounds, Floyd Mayweather has defeated Marcos Maidana by unanimous decision. With the victory, Floyd retains his welterweight titles with a record of (47-0) including 26 knockouts. Floyd will take home a purse of a guaranteed $32 million and will look for a new opponent to face in May 2015.
Floyd surprised viewers of the main event by entering the ring solo and proving his was focused and ready to rumble. Despite the madness in Floyd personal life, Mayweather managed to enter the ring poised and up to the task and came way with a victory. Now its only a matter of time before the questions begin to surface about a possible Mayweather vs. Paciquiao will take place soon.
