20 year-old Bobby Shmurda has been dismissed of all gun charges, according to his attorney, Howard Greenberg. Confirmed by REVOLT, the Brooklyn D.A.’s Office says that the gun charge that he was indicted on after allegedly firing into a crowd outside of a barber shop, will be dismissed in two weeks.
However, Shmurda isn’t out the woods yet. The rapper still faces charges of conspiracy in the second degree, three counts of conspiracy in the third degree, reckless endangerment in the second degree and one count of criminal possession of drug paraphernalia (intent to sell and possession of narcotics). This comes after being arrested by NYPD at Quad Studios in Manhattan as a result of a long term narcotics investigation against his crew, GS9. If convicted, the Brooklyn native could be spending up to 25 years in prison.
Shmurda is set to appear in court January 29th.
