According to TMZ, Dame Dash and Kanye West are being sued over their film, “Loisadas.”
Executive produced by both Dash and West, the name “Loisadas” means Lower East Side, and is used as the movie’s setting. A slew of familiar Hip Hop artists, including Dash himself, were casted to be in the movie.
However, a musical duo, called The Loisadas, believes the movie “tarnishes” their brand. Lead singer, Michael Medina, feels the movie promotes violence and drugs, and wants a judge involved to halt the movie’s production and hit the two Hip Hop heavyweights with damages.
