Back in December Diddy and Drake had an altercation outside of LIV in Miami. The mogul allegedly punched Drake in the face after he felt disrespected for Drake’s use of “0 to 100/The Catch Up.” You might recall that both Diddy and Drake were given the instrumental by Boi-1da. Diddy is said to have sat on the beat for eight months and Drake got frustrated and released his version of the song that would go on to be nominated from two Grammys. According to sources that were outside of the club Diddy said ” you’ll never disrespect me again” before punching Drake who was taken to the ER because the punch caused him to exacerbate an older injury.
Sources close to both rappers confirm that two made peace sometime in mid-April. Drake and Diddy are scheduled to appear at the same events numerous times this summer including concerts, parties, award shows, and more. Both men agreed that it would be best to clear the air in a personal setting rather than cross paths in a public setting while there is still friction.
