What better way to start the new year off than a collaboration between Pro Era and the Brown Bag All Stars. Independent record label, Coalmine Records, made the announcement a few days ago.
Pro Era’s, A La $ole, will be hitting the studio with Brown Bag All Star’s, J57; projecting a release for the album in March of this year. For those unfamiliar with A La $ole, he was featured on Pro Era’s “Peep: The Aprocalpse” and “The Shift.” While J57 is known for working with artists such as Skyzoo, Nitty Scott and Rapper Big Pooh on the production side of the music.
While the album is yet to be titled, both artists had a few things to say about each other.
A La $ole on J57:
I first heard of him when Joey Bada$$ first cut that Big Poppa $wank record. It sent me back to when I first discovered my love for music, so I was instantly amazed by the production. Ever since then I wanted to work with him and now it’s actually mind-boggling that we are putting together this masterpiece.
J57 on A La $ole:
I’ve been down with/working with Joey Bad$$ for a couple years and steadily watching the Pro Era movement. A La $sole was the next Pro I wanted to work with because he’s a phenomenal lyricist. The project came together organically due to our mutual respect for each other’s craft. I know A La will be the next big thing and I’m excited to be a part of it.
No title for the album has been given as of yet and no confirmation of release date.
