We haven’t heard much about Bobby Shmurda in recent weeks. The man behind the Summer of 2014 banger Hot Nigga has been behind bars since October of 2014 on a 69-count indictment from NYPD. Shmurda & his GS9 crew are believed to be all gang affiliates according to NY police wh perceive them as a threat to the community. The 20-year old Brooklyn emcee is looking at some real time behind bars if found guilty on current murder, weapons, & conspiracy charges. The investigation is ongoing & is said to have begun way before he became the Hip-Hop sensation he’s now become. Cops believe that he is the leader of the alleged GS9 Gang which is said to be a branch of the G-Stone Crips.
Shmurda’s mother sat down with FOX 5 to give her take on the situation at hand & how she believes that the Police are simply after her son & his friends to throw them behind bars. She claims that he is not the leader of any type of gang & he and all his friends are actually good kids. With his $2 Million bail being denied multiple times, authorities clearly feel otherwise.
