The annual 2015 BET Hip Hop Awards recently invaded the Atlanta area for a weekend full of music, art, and culture. As always, HHS1987’s Eldorado was in attendance to capture all the sights and sounds from another successful Hip Hop-centric extravaganza.
While conducting interviews on the 2015 BET Hip-Hop Awards green carpet, we caught up Hip-Hop legend/ Bay Area native E40. Not only being a student of the game, E40 spoke on looking forward to seeing all of the great performances during the awards show. Working with Detroit native Big Sean for the hit record “IDFWU”, E40 spoke on being able to drop a club banger at anything but wanting to do something different next. E40 informed us that he is working on a new 7 track EP entitled ‘Poverty and Prosperity’ something he feelings he was called to do highlighting the struggles and the beauty of our culture.
Before concluding the interview, E40 also gave us his predictions on his Golden State Warriors upcoming 2015-16 NBA season. Watch the Hip Hop Awards this Tuesday October 13 at 8pm EST. The interview was conducted by Eldorado and shot by Brian Da Director.
