I can’t breathe in this motherf*cker.” When asked about her album, overall, D∆WN shares that she “wanted to speak on self discovery, and what it means to be black. To be a woman. To speak on gay rights. To speak on Black rimes. To talk about sexual discovery. And to find redemption in having a voice to do so.”
