The 2016-17 NBA season tips off in October and the Atlanta Hawks are ready to get things rolling again. On Monday September 26th the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club hosted the team’s 2016 Media Day at the W Atlanta Hotel in the Buckhead section of Atlanta. The Hawks begin preparing for the upcoming 2016-17 season and Terrell Thomas (Eldorado) and Brian Da Director were on the scene to talk with the Atlanta Hawks and get the inside scoop on the upcoming 2016-17 season.
During the event, we caught up with Atlanta Hawks star Thabo Sefolosha who discussed being healthy for the entire 2016-17 NBA season, playing with Dwight Howard, getting advice to the rookies and more. With much of America discussing protest during the National Anthem, Thabo Sefolosha also spoke to us about his fellow athletes standing up for their beliefs and the issues surrounding the National Anthem.
