Week 12 of the NFL season gives us a special treat today with three games on this Thanksgiving afternoon. To kickoff week 12, we kick things off with a NFC North matchup for the top spot in the division. The second game of the afternoon is also a big matchup as we get to off the top teams/ rivals in the NFC East looking to gain a lead in the NFC playoff game when the Cowboys host Washington. In the late game, two of the AFC’s preseason potential Super Bowl contenders the Steelers and the Colts close the night in Indianapolis.
With three games in action today, Week 12 will kick offs with a bang. Checkout my Week 12 NFL Thanksgiving predictions below.
Week 12 Thanksgiving Predictions
Minnesota Vikings vs. Detroit Lions (Viks 24 Lions 31): Look for Lions quarterback Matt Stafford to have a big game tossing 3 touchdown passes and throwing for over 300 yards. For the Minnesota Vikings, look for the Vikings offense to come over productive as well. Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford will toss three touchdown passes as well for throw for over 280 yards. Im going with the home team in the this game!
Washington (Pro Football team) vs. Dallas Cowboys (Washington 34 Cowboys 28): Look for Washington to look to make a huge statement this afternoon as they face one of hottest teams in the NFL, the Dallas Cowboys. Washington quarterback Kirk Cousins will pass for over 350 yards and 4 touchdown passes. The Cowboys will look get their ground game started early. Ezekiel Elliott will rush for 2 touchdowns and over 125 yards. Dak Prescott will toss for over 275 including two touchdown passes. I like Washington in a close one here.
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Indianapolis Colts (Steelers 42 Colts 17): This game took a major hit before the game has even started with the announcement that Colts quarterback Andrew Luck will miss tonight’s game so we won’t get to see the matchup of Big Ben against Luck. Tonight for the Steelers offense to come out quickly and to take the lead early. Look for Ben Roethlisberger to pass for over 300 yards and for 4 touchdowns. With Andrew Luck out, the Colts offense will not be able to product enough points.
