Heir Jordan provides his listeners with more than just “Love Songs about Money” (Pun intended) as he chronicles the life of a hustler riddled with real life issues. With subject matter spanning from teen pregnancy to the importance of a college education and everything in-between, he toes the fine line of gangster rap and pop music with the agility of a young Shawn Carter.
Since his initial mixtape aptly dubbed “Fresh Air” in 2009, which he then named T.R.U.MP but later changed to Heir Jordan due to Donald Trump’s negative political endeavors, has had over 14,000 views on youtube and thousands of streams on datpiff.com. This modicum of success has prompted him to release a follow up album in 2017 which he called “Makeup>Sex,” Which has a large promotional marketing push planned that includes a full length film that will feature four songs from the album as music videos. This film will allow the listener to visually connect to the music in a 2 dimensional composition of sight and sound.
Concerning his future plan he said “The plan is to show the new hip hop audience what a star is. This is because, we live in the era of everyman celebrity…….. Remove the money and power from the present stars and the admiration goes with it. I want to show them that I was this big of a deal to women prior to music. I want to give the women a rapper like LL COOL J, if you know what I mean.”
