Hawks fans woke up this Saturday morning with a “ATL State Of Mind”.

 

Last night, the Atlanta Hawks picked up their fourth win of the 2017-18 NBA season after a big (116-104) victory against the New York Knicks (116-104).

 

The Hawks withstood a 17 point deficit to comeback and beat the Knicks. Friday night’s matchup was former Atlanta Hawks swingman Tim Hardaway Jr’s first time back in Philips Arena since signing with the Knicks over the Summer. Hardaway was greeted with love from both Hawks fans and his former Hawks teammates but after that, it was time to play ball.

 

Dennis Schroder was rolling on Friday night finishing the game with 26 points on (11-18) shooting along with 8 assist. In his second night as a starter, John Collins continues to improve and impress. Collins finished the night with 13 points and 5 rebounds. The Hawks outscored the Knicks by 20 points in the second half taking command of the game. Sharpshooter Marco Belinelli added 15 points and Taurean Prince added 13 points and 8 rebounds.

 

For the Knicks, in his return to Philips Arena, Tim Hardaway Jr. shot (8-16) on the night finishing with 22 points. Kristaps Porzingis dropped 28 points and Courtney Lee added 26 points. The Atlanta Hawks will be back in action tonight Saturday November 25th against the Kyle Lowry and the Toronto Raptors. Stay tuned to HHS1987 for more NBA news.
