December is here and the first Sunday of the 2017 NFL season will present a few BIG matchups as we kickoff the 23 days til Christmas. Today in Atlanta, we get a possible NFC playoffs matchup as the Minnesota Vikings will face the Atlanta Falcons. The NFL playoff picture is shaping out by nothing is set in stone. Tonight the Philadelphia Eagles could become the first team to clinch a playoff berth with a win in Seattle.
Today will also mark a return to the field for two potential future all-pro players. The Cleveland Browns will welcome wide receiver Josh Gordon back into the starting lineup and in Chicago, the San Francisco 49ers have a new QB as Jimmy Garoppolo will start a quarterback for the Niners.
