Uncle Drew was on another planet tonight.

Despite the Sixers recent winning streak, they weren’t able to keep the ball rolling against the Boston Celtics. Last night in Boston, the Sixers fell to a record of (12-9) after the Celtics (108-97) victory.

For the Sixers, it was their second game in two nights and big man Joel Embiid did not play. Dario Saric was the teams leading scorer dropping 18 points on (6-16) shooting from the field with 10 rebounds. Sixers rookie of the year candidate finished the game with 15 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assist and 5 steals. Simmons who was named Oct/Nov. Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month is looking like a star on the rise.

Sixers sharpshooter J.J Redick added 17 points. Sixers swingman Robert Covington added 11 points and 5 rebounds.

The story of the night was the play of Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving. Kyrie has been leading his young team in MVP like fashion and his play Thursday night was no different. Irving finished the game with 36 points going (5-8) from the field. Celtics big man Al Horford played huge as well. Horford finished with 21 points on (9-12) shooting from the floor. Boston rookie Jayson Tatum scored 15 points with 2 rebounds and 2 assist.

The Sixers will look to bounce back on Saturday December 2nd as they head to Detroit to take on the Detroit Pistons. Stay tuned to HHS1987 for more NBA news. Follow @eldorado2452 on Twitter and Instagram for all your NBA and sports news.
