South Carolina’s very own NGeeYL (pronounced “en-gee-why-el”) drops his latest single “Trip Gang”.
The “Torch” rapper’s sound is rather distinct as his relaxed cadence over the hard-hitting production is uniquely and solely NGeeYL. With the Spartanburg rapper, every bar and ad-lib is full of grit, as his crafted narratives turn into anthems inspired by the trap and for the trap.
NGeeYL’s hard work in South Carolina caught the attention of Young Nudy and lead to the recording of “Slime Shit.” That major co-sign caught the attention of 21 Savage. The “Bank Account” rapper invited the newcomer to perform alongside him. The admiration from both 21 Savage and Young Nudy is a humbling experience for the 20-year-old, who just began his rap career less than a year ago.
With fans and veterans watching his next move, NGeeYL is bound to deliver more heat and define his place within hip-hop. Take a listen to “Trip Gang” below.
