Backed by trap beats, ATL’s Ralo explores life’s trials and tribulations with emotive bars and raspy delivery. On “Bosses Make Sure,” Ralo teams up with longtime collaborator and friend YFN Lucci, and gives the first taste of what to expect on his upcoming project, Conspiracy, due 10/12.
Ralo and YFN Lucci make sure their people are taken care of on “Bosses Make Sure.” YFN Lucci raps, “a boss is one who guarantees we gonna eat,” while Ralo nods to buying his mom a whip and his sister a house. This is nothing new for Ralo, who took over as the family breadwinner and vowed to take care of his family when his dad passed. Ralo’s music is a combination of ingenuity and power. He has worked with acts such as Gucci Mane, Future, Shawty Lo, Young Thug, Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, Lil Yachty, Jefé (Shy Glizzy), and Young Scooter. This experience has given Ralo the opportunity to prove to his fans that he has what it takes to surpass some of the more popular mainstream and independent artists out today.
Ralo is still in jail in Atlanta, GA, awaiting pre-trial. Although it’s been a turbulent year for the rapper he remains in high spirits and is excited to drop Conspiracy. In his own words, “I feel like I’ve matured learned a lot and I’m even closer to God. I’m blessed, grateful and I continue to grow as a man.” He continues, “There is a pending law that decriminalizes prosecution of marijuana at a federal level. There are a lot of people locked up in this system, they made mistakes or were in the wrong place with the wrong people. We need to hurry up and pass these laws so that families can be back together and men can get back to being with their families.”
