The Roots and Live Nation Urban team up, once again, to present the 12th annual Roots Picnic in Philly, on June 1, 2019. This year, the Picnic moves to The Mann Center at Fairmount Park, expanding the footprint overall. The festival continues to align with music and culture, and remains known for careful curation that unites music’s hottest acts, influencers, tastemakers and thought leaders for one unforgettable day.
The Roots, of course, will headline, as they celebrate the 20th anniversary of their seminal album, “Things Fall Apart.” Other confirmed performers include, H.E.R., 21 Savage, Tank & The Bangas, Lil Baby, Davido, City Girls, Blueface, Ari Lennox, and more.
The Joe Budden Podcast will also be conducting a live podcast experience at the festival. And other activation and experiences will be taking place as well. The annual Roots Picnic festival remains just as unpredictable, undeniable and unique as The Roots themselves. Check out the full line-up below and visit the official festival website.
