East London singer-songwriter and producer kwn continues to prove that her sound knows no borders. Her latest dual release, “touch myself” and “idea of love,” further showcases the range and emotional depth that continues to set her apart within modern R&B.
Released via RCA Records, the two-pack balances sensuality and vulnerability, giving listeners two completely different sides of the rising artist. “touch myself” delivers a smooth, emotionally charged R&B feel centered around longing and desire, while “idea of love” strips things back with softer production and introspective songwriting that reflects on the fears tied to relationships. Fans previously got a glimpse of the record during her recent performance on COLORS.

The release arrives ahead of kwn’s forthcoming EP, and all pride aside, dropping June 26. The project follows last year’s with all due respect and continues her streak of pushing contemporary R&B forward through honest storytelling and experimental production.
Over the past year, kwn’s momentum has continued to grow with praise from publications including Billboard and Complex. Standout tracks like “worst behaviour” and “talk you through it” featuring FLO have helped solidify her as one of the genre’s most exciting emerging voices.
Fresh off nominations from the BET Awards, BRIT Awards, and MOBO Awards, kwn is continuing her rise with festival appearances at Roots Picnic, Lollapalooza, and more throughout the summer.
