It’s been a minute since French Montana gave us a banger – “No Stylist” featuring Drake was released last year! This week, French slides through with a Blueface and Lil TJay assisted single.
On “Slide,” French delivers bold lyrics over the slapping production that samples Dr. Dre’s “Nuthin’ But A G Thang,” as Lil TJay compliments with auto-tuned melodies. “Had respect for yo’ ass, now it’s time for Montana to check yo’ ass.” Blueface contributes a verse where he raps, “Tommy gun on me like a Hilfiger. Slidin’ and glidin’ this ain’t no plain jane. Reachin’ for my piece like opening yes and bird box.”
