St. Louis MO natives, Robbo Brilliant and EJ Carter ask, “Where you from?” in a new Midwest anthem, “From the Lou.” The single also serves as a tribute for the late Michael Brown – an unarmed Black teen who was killed at the hands of law enforcement in Ferguson MO.
“From The Lou” tells the story of a city that’s infested with crime, drugs, police killings – but above all, resilience of its people. Part of the video was filmed in Ferguson.
