On Saturday afternoon, the Los Angeles Lakers agreed to a three year deal with Frank Vogel to be the Lakers new head coach.
For the past few weeks, the Lakers have been on the hunt for a new coach and that hunt has ended with a surprising hire. Frank Vogel is no stranger to coaching in the NBA. As a head coach in the league, Vogel was (250-181) as the head coach of the Indiana Pacers and just (54-110) as the head coach of the Orlando Magic.
Vogel’s new job is in a most more high profile situation as its coaching in Los Angeles and coaching LeBron James. Frank Vogel will also be joined by former NBA great Jason Kidd.
