Some things never change, and the quality of Southern rap is one of those things. Louisiana legend Boosie BadAzz and Dallas heatseeker MO3 have teamed up for a collaborative tape, BadAzz MO3, releasing today via H$M/EMPIRE and BadAzz Music Syndicate. Would you be down to post about the project?

“One of Them Days Again” is a clear standout for me – a relatable insight into the everyday of two of the South’s most intriguing rappers. I think you’ll feel the same.

After noticing MO3’s rise in Texas in 2016, Boosie reached out to sign him to his label, coining him the “Boosie of Dallas.” The deal didn’t go through but they remained friends and in 2019, they worked together on a remix of Mo3’s breakout hit, “Errybody.” The video has over 43M views on YouTube and counting. They joined forces yet again on “Apartment” – a standout track from Mo3’s latest mixtape, OSAMA, which dropped late last year – peep the new visual featuring Desi Banks here. Now, BadAzz MO3 brings their relationship to the next level with 15 songs that feature only themselves.
