70th Street Carlos – MacSauce (Video Review)

Upcoming Baton Rouge, Louisiana artist 70th Street Carlos, aka Big Cheesy, has arrived in 2020 with a new visual for his song called “MacSauce” on Jan. 8, garnering over 40,000 views within two weeks. Rising as one of Baton Rouge’s new favorites, he is definitely on the come up for southern hip-hop.

Baton Rouge is known for its classic bounce music, and 70th Street Carlos provides every ounce of the bounce culture, all the while keeping the trap vibe consistent. “MacSauce” is a good example.

His debut mixtape was released at the end of 2018, called “777” and it was just a glimpse of what he had to contribute to the southern hip-hop culture. Followed up by his mixtape release in 2019 called “Win Or Lose,” 70th Street Carlos has further proven that he is a reliable source for bringing the cultural Baton Rouge bounce sound to the forefront, while adding his own twist.
