unnamed-3 TisaKorean drops off his bass-knocking 'Wasteland.' album, alongside new video

Texas’ TisaKorean, has arrived with his long awaited new project, Wasteland.. Not only has Tisa embarked on a journey to invent his own language, Tisinese, but he’s found time to gift fans a new project just in time for the holidays. Wasteland.has touched down today and spans 14 tracks. The project has been a long time coming, and features more of the energetic, off-kilter bars and bass-knocking, bouncing production that fans have come to expect from him. Some familiar tracks in the 30-minute runtime (full tracklist below) include the soapy, party cut “Bate Onna Bo,” as well as his most recent single, “Rocky Road” ft. Father (Awful Records) and YehMe2 (ex. Flosstradamus). It’s also home to to The Mop,” a collab with Kblast and Huncho Da Rockstar that generated over 40 million streams and inspired one of the first viral dances of the decade.

Alongside the new album, Tisa’s shared a new video for Baby Steps,” which he edited and directed himself. The song features the menacing horn fanfares and syrup-friendly lyrics of Houston rap, complete with the emphatic flow and off-color witticisms that have become his trademark: “It’s way too packed, there ain’t no parking spots around the club.” “Baby Steps” finds Tisa and his crew mobbing outside the club, as Tisa shows off his directorial skills with close-ups and split-screen edits.
