Kelvyn Boy, born Kelvyn Brown has broadened the definition of afrobeats pushing the genre into a whole new direction. 29 yr old, rising Afro-pop artist hails out of Ghana the Eastern Region, Assin Fosu. His passion for music began at a tender age where he used every opportunity to sing and perform at various churches with his quartet group; after graduating in 2014 from Osei Tutu Senior Secondary School, that passion quickly transformed into purpose and “Kelvyn Boy” was born. Inspired by the likes of Bob Marley, Fela Kuti, Stonebwoy and his own personal experiences he began writing and composing his own music to tell his story. Kelvyn Boy’s unique musical style is a well curated blend of Afrobeats, Afro-Pop, Reggae, Soul and Highlife which has separated him from the traditional afrobeats artists – putting him in a lane of his own.
Kelvyn Boy has had a phenomenal career out the gate with his extraordinary voice and energized performances in Australia, Jamaica, Belgium, Europe and many more he has acquired a flourishing global fan base.
