1) Tell us a little bit about your background in the entertainment industry. What have some of your biggest accomplishments been on your journey to the top?
My background in the music industry started with Vision Records. We actually got a deal with Nippy Inc,. But never went anywhere. After that got a deal with Motown with 917 productions, through Hank Shocklee. After that I got a deal with Interscope and that’s when I went to prison. I would say that actually getting the deal was my biggest accomplishment.
2) What about your experience in past life are you able to apply to your life today?
Learning how to be patient and trust the process, and humbling myself. Now im really working with people that have my best interest in the forefront.
3) The music industry took a big hit because of covid. How did this affect your business as an artist?
It put my project on hold, but it turned out for my good. I got to drop PURGE which I wrote about 4 years ago and goes along with the political narrative today. That wouldn’t have happened without COVID.
4) What artists are you listening to right now?
I Listening to TIP and ME. And Khelani.
5) Where do you see your music career in 5 years?
I see my artist blowing up and my compound getting off the ground. I see like my 3rd or 4th album getting released and my brand being well known across the globe.
6) How do you believe artists can give back to the community during this time?
Being Proactive in the community, and active in their community. Not just giving money but showing face and giving Time.
7) Who are some of your biggest musical influences?
My biggest musical influences are : Red hot chili peppers, Jimmy Hendrix, and Nirvana
8) If you could change one thing about today’s music, what would it be?
I think everyone sounds the same I wish people would just be themselves. Share their own sound.
What’s something that you believe connects your fans to this song?
The reality of it. The song speaks on what is going on TODAY
How would you describe your sound?
I feel that it’s refreshing and it’s me.
Who are some of your musical influences?
My biggest musical influences are : Red hot chili peppers, Jimmy Hendrix, and Nirvana
Tell us more about your production process, and how much of it do you do yourself? (do you have a producer, a team of producers, do you self-produce, etc.)*
I have a team me and TY my brother from another mother. We write and produce together.
Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?*
Ideally 3000 but I know he’s not doing music anymore but if not him Zach de la Rocha from Rage against the Machine he has a dope flow.
What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?*
Tip his new album the Libra and I dig the record cuz his lyricism is still un matched plus he’s from Atlanta!
Would you say social media is an important platform for your work? And if so, why is social media such an important way for you to connect with your fans?
Yes because its where I connect with my fans. It’s where they get to know you for real.
