Rae Sremmurd’s step father, Floyd Sullivan, was fatally shot in Mississippi last night, as reported by Tupelo Police Department. Officers discovered the 63 year old’s body on the scene with at least two gunshot wounds. According to reports, the younger brother of Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi, Michael Brown, was taken into custody for questioning. The 19 year old is a person of interest in the shooting and is currently held for psychiatric evaluation.
No other suspects are being sought at this time. Swae Lee took to his Instagram Story last night with a selfie that had a broken heart emoji. It was unclear if this was in response to the killing.
