Over the weekend, Kodak Black made allegations about being a victim in a prison beating. He states he was “badly beaten” by seven guards at USP Big Sandy – a high-security federal prison located in Kentucky. Shared as a post on Instagram, Kodak said he was struck in the head, repeatedly, by the guards, who took turns with a metal object while he was in cuffs.
Kodak’s legal team is demanding a full investigation from the Justice Department as well as the FBI. And his lawyer, Bradford Cohen, requested the preservation of all video evidence from Big Sandy. Apparently, there are recordings of witnesses who can validate Kodak’s story.
“A 22-year-old man serving approx 2 years more for a non-violent crime is in a max pen. 1100 miles from his family and lawyers. This is a true injustice. Not to mention when he was under the influence of an unknown substance during the incident in Miami 2 weeks before his sentencing on the paperwork case,” stated Cohen.
