New York, NY – October 9, 2020 — A BET x Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (CBCF) are bringing a two-part special to television on Sunday, Oct. 11. The CBCF has partnered with long-time sponsors to bring CBCF Sunday, the grand finale of the Annual Legislative (ALC) conference.
The day will close out the inaugural Virtual Annual Legislative Conference starting at 10 am ET with the “Day of Healing” broadcast, and end with the “Phoenix Awards” broadcasting at 8 pm ET on BET & BET Her.
The Day Of Healing will be hosted by Kirk Franklin, with appearances from renowned talent like TD Jakes, The Clark Sisters, Donnie Simpson, Tye Tribbett, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, and Evvie McKinney.
The Phoneix Awards will be hosted by Taraji P. Henson, with appearances by Andra Day, Anthony Hamilton, Black Violin, Common, Cynthia Erivo, India Arie, Jonathan Traylor, Kem, Ledisi and T-Pain.
