In memory of his late friend, Roddy Ricch is keeping Nipsey Hussle close to his heart. Literally. Today, on his IG stories, Ricch revealed a brand new chain, designed in Nipsey’s memory. The chain features a portrait of the late rapper that’s surrounded with diamonds inside a crown of thorns. Celebrity jeweler, Eliantte, was entrusted with the making of this one-of-a-kind piece.
“He was more than just another rapper to me. He was one of the young motivational role models in the city. He really had a positive connection with young people. It wasn’t always about being the toughest or trying to prove yourself or be something you wasn’t. It was more so about who you were and always having a strong mentality in whatever you wanted to do as far as your ventures,” shared Ricch.
In 2019, Roddy won a GRAMMY alongside Nipsey for their “Racks in the Middle” collaboration.
