York Artist Bigoppzooted is back at it again. Using 2021 as a way to prove how serious he is about his craft, the consistency has been spot on. Taking some time to create and regroup after his Soundcloud exclusive mixtape a few months back, Bigopp’s foot has been on the gas pedal ever since. Dropping visuals to one of his first-ever releases, also a fan favorite, Balenciaga, Bigopp was shown tons of support. Motivating him to push out new music, Bigoppzooted is here with his single titled ‘Down Bad’. With a catchy hook rapping, “Yeah I done did some shit, dat was down-bad”. Bigopp gives a look into the tough circumstances he faces in York. Using music as a gateway out, Bigopp has shifted his focus from life on the streets.
With the amount of versatility we hear on “Down Bad”, it was a surprise to hear Bigoppzooted has been making music for less than 18 months. Perfecting his catchy wordplay, Bigopp is able to stand out with his lyrics. Bigoppzooted also incorporates a strong tone, setting his sound and style apart from any artist out there in today’s music scene. Although Bigopp is growing fast among other underground artists, he is focused on developing himself as an artist solely. Not worried about his competition, Bigoppzooted is able to set the bar higher and higher for himself with each release.
