Shotta Spence shared his rocky ‘Young & Humble’ single earlier this year, which was produced by Myles Harris, Mike WiLL Made-It and Chopsquad DJ. With his new single and video titled “Don’t Fold,” the Vietnamese-American raised in New Jersey returns.

Featuring footage from earlier this year’s #StopAsianHate protests, Shotta delivers his lyrics about staying solid over production with help from longtime friend Kakuyon in the new directed by Max video.

Among the songs Spence released in 2020 were “$howers,” “Starship,” “Bag on a Bag,” and “Arriba.” In 2019, Spence released his 1012 project. Big Blake contributed a track to this release. There are eight tracks in all. During his 2016 debut, he released the hit single “Nothing 2 Lose.” from his Upfall project.

The new video “Don’t Fold” was inspired by Shotta’s intentions of bringing the world closer together. According to a press release, the song is about keeping family and friendships strong.
