Recording artist and respected talent DJ Xclusive City entered the music industry at a time of enormous innovation and change. He intends to be part of that revolution paving the way for arising artists and creating a brand that elevates purpose, passion and people.
As a rising figure in the music world, DJ Xclusive City’s work ethic and faithfulness to greatness have deeply imprinted his career, allowing him to drive the envelope and colour out of the lines to leverage his platform. There’s something to be said about artists who honour their roots. For example, DJ Xclusive City pays homage to his relatives, where he inherited his musical talents from up-close. He also solidifies his platform by committing himself to artist development and strategizing his brand (most indie artists’ kryptonite); DJ Xclusive City executes this remarkably well.
In addition to harnessing his craft, he uses harsh contrasts to pick apart his style of lyricism. He uses softer, melodic vibes to his beats which he lays against lyrics of such extreme violence that it creates a contrast other rappers can only shake their head in disbelief. Some call him lucky; others call him gifted. However, we know it takes hard work, on top of natural talent, to break the Orlando music scene in the way that he does.
On top of this, DJ Xclusive City constantly reminds himself to stay unpretentious and keep a wise perspective, as the spontaneity of great ideas is unforeseen. If you confine yourself in a creative box, your platform will never grow, and your craft will plateau. This year, DJ Xclusive City’s goals are to establish further his music’s credence, network with like-minded industry leaders, and collaborate on an international scale.
