With the holiday season advancing and Christmas Day rapidly approaching, it is important to acknowledge those who will be able to join you and those who won’t. In response, Lil Tjay released his first Christmas song today (Dec. 1) called “Christmas In A Cell.” Tjay gets reflective on the track:
It’s been a few months since Lil Tjay released his second album, Destined 2 Win, which had 21 tracks with the assistance of 6LACK, Polo G, Fivio Foreign, Tyga, Saweetie, Toosii, Offset, and Moneybagg Yo. As a result, the Bronx rapper’s project solidified his status as one of hip-hop’s most influential figures, landing him among the top five on the Billboard 200 after selling 62,000 units in its first week. Tjay’s 2019 album True 2 Myself sold 45,000 units its first week and subsequently earned him a well-deserved Platinum plaque.
In recent years, Tjay worked with French Montana on “Bag Season” and Kay Flock and Fivio Foreign on “Not In The Mood”. Additionally, he released the official video for “Forever In My Heart.”
