The Virginian native teamed up with the West African rapper to merge some afrobeat flavor with a drill drip for their latest collaboration. Over the years, TGUT has been able to establish a diverse sound that embodies everything from dancehall to Hip Hop, creating his staple international mix. Now, with his latest single “Grind,” Medikal helps TGUT further amplify his soundscape, bridging the gap between epic African expanse and drill energy.
“GRIND represents the sound of a global linkup from Ghana to the US in a form that can be enjoyed by people from all over the world. Medikal is my guy and you can hear the musical chemistry through this record.” exclaims TGUT.
TGUT has worked on a variety of projects including a dancehall project in Kingston, JA to producing collaborations with Diddy and Fivio Foriegn on A$AP Ferg’s latest album. Other collaborations include Megan Thee Stallion, G Herbo, Rich The Kid, Curren$y, King Von, and Wyclef Jean to name a few.
