Eastside Pasadena local Real Consistency has been proving himself with his versatile sound and authentic subject matter. His sound is a mix of street-style gangster rap, similar to Dave East with that poppy Chris Brown flair, seeping authenticity. Real Consistency said in a recent interview that music is a “release” for him or cathartic experience, which is why his music comes off as genuine and charismatic. He puts everything into his music.
Now, Real Consistency just released a collaboration and visual for his new track, “Do Me,” featuring Teejay3K and Rayven Justice. The little under five-minute visual takes the audience on a rollercoaster of emotions as Real Consistency confronts his girl who’s texting people behind his back. The video has this distorted and purple hue that makes for an entertaining visual, matching the laid-back cadence of the track.
The visual cuts between Real Consistency, TeeJay3K, and Rayven Justice as they chill in a high rise, confronting his girl who has been cheating. Real Consistency delivers a versatile track as you can’t help but be in your feelings, but also not because you’ll do the same, and do you.
Consistency has been making a name for himself with his versatile and melodic sound and with such projects in his discography as Legacy Resorts 2/3, his latest joint project Williams Brotherz Vol. 1, featuring L.A.V.A. Flamez. He is currently preparing to release his forthcoming project UNDERRATED, which should be released very soon, with no specific release date.
