In addition to Too $hort’s many talents, a good party anthem is surely one of his most recognizable songs. Earlier this week, Too $hort released his last single of the year titled “Nasty Dance” just in time for New Years Eve parties. In a song with a slower beat, $hort pulls profit from the mood by paying homage to all the beautiful women in every area code:
A collaboration track by Too Short, Ice Cube, and Ne-Yo was recently released as part of the “Raider Colors” campaign. Ain’t Gone Do It/Terms and Conditions was the release from Bay Area staples E-40 and Too $hort in December, featuring contributions from Pimpin Ken, Guapdad 4000, G-Eazy, Brent Faiyaz, Mistah F.A.B., Larry June, Drakeo The Ruler, and more. A new video from $hort’s June release, “Fuck Yo Speakers,” was released at the end of June.
The two rappers released their first and second joint albums in 2012 entitled History: Mob Music and History: Function Music, which featured 34 songs and plenty of assistance from artists such as Tyga, Wiz Khalifa, Jeremih, Suga Free, Kurupt, B-Legit, and Battlecat.
