On January 14th, Sean Urbanski was sentenced for life as he killed a 23-year-old Black man in 2017. Richard Collins III was the identified victim, who would’ve graduated from Bowie State University in just three days. According to reports, Urbanski confronted three people at a bus stop and instructed Collins to step left if he knows what is best for him. When he didn’t comply, he was stabbed. While the angle of hate crime played a crucial role, there was inadequate evidence.
