Ahmaud Arbery, a 25-year-old Black man, was fatally shot when he was jogging through a Georgia neighborhood last year. Now, exactly a year after his death, his mother-Wanda Cooper-Jones- decided to file a $1 million civil rights lawsuit against many people who played a role in her son’s death and investigation.
