Doit4theyouth Corp. is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization whose mission is to provide low-cost and no-cost athletic and academic opportunities to the youth in and around Allentown PA. They aim to not only get kids active but also to provide help to families undergoing hardships to prepare their kids for the future.
Their mission also includes:
· Provide opportunities for kids to be productive, fit, and be active in safe environments;
· Reduce sedentary behavior which is attributable to childhood obesity. Health is key;
· Reduce economic barriers to participation in youth sports and educational programs;
· Bring our youth closer together through common interests in sportsmanship and academically challenging programs;
· Teach sportsmanship, teamwork and accountability; building character and discipline;
· Encourage our youth to have respect for sports, others, and themselves;
· Gather resources and partnerships that can create opportunities for local kids in the future;
· Build a fund for families in hardships that will enable impacted kids to participate in extracurricular activities;
· Host programs that will allow kids to be kids no matter their upbringings!
They are looking for sponsors who are willing to donate and assist in covering our essential expenses such as: fundraising events, registration fees, school supplies, sports equipment, traveling expenses, state fees, insurances, and other administrative costs to operate the program for our community youth.
All sponsorship funding is directly invested into the program and is used to manage and improve athletic and academic opportunities in the local area.
They want to continue to turn no child away for lack of financial means. They are a non-profit organization and donations will be tax-deductible. Donations of any amount or items will be accepted and appreciated.
