Just a few months have passed since Kodak Black released his fourth studio album Back For Everything. The album was comprised of 19 tracks with a single feature from Lil Durk. 60,000 album equivalent units were shipped during the first week of the release of the project, which landed him at the second spot on the Billboard 200 chart. The album’s smash hit “Super Gremlin,” a Platinum-certified single charted across the globe, topped the charts in multiple countries.
As promised, Kodak kept the momentum going over the weekend with “Tears Gone Come,” a touching collaboration with Future that shows the pain of street life in both artists’ words:
Besides Back For Everything, Future also dropped his ninth album, I NEVER LIKED YOU, a 16-song collection of collaborations with Gunna, Kanye West, Young Thug, EST Gee, Drake, and Kodak. Future’s eighth number one album became the highest-selling album of the week on the Billboard 200 chart after selling 222,000 equivalent albums in its first week. Future released a deluxe edition of his album three days after the original release that included six new tracks and contributions from Lil Baby, 42 Dugg, Babyface Ray, and more.
