Born in Memphis, Tennessee and raised in Holly Springs, Mississippi,Lil Kloud has always been overlooked in the music scene due to his weird style of music. Growing up he embraced artists like Lil B, Soulja Boy & Jay Z which heavily influenced his music. When asked how Jay Z had an influence on his music this is what he had to say, “Jay Z don’t really have an influence on me musically but more on the business side. I don’t think I ever heard of Jay Z having a bad business investment, like he look at the industry like a business. He understood the business concept of it.” He says Soulja Boy inspired him because of how Soulja Boy started a trend. “Like Soulja Boy started the whole internet wave, if it wasn’t for him Spotify wouldn’t exist, YouTube wouldn’t exist. None of this social media shit would honestly be relevant. He changed the game for sure.” When I asked about Lil B here’s what he said about Lil B. “Man, his whole style, his flow, his beat selection and everything and the fact he did everything himself. Speaking on Lil B he actually gave me his number in my DMs via instagram. He weird though, he kept asking me to buy his merch on some weirdo shit. I’m thinking we’re about to talk about music and every time we talk about music he telling me to buy his merch. So I blocked him, he weird for that” So I’m guessing we shouldn’t expect them to collaborate in the future on anything. Since his last single “Shoutout To My Pain” hit 1 million streams in a week.

Lil Kloud has since become a local celebrity in his hometown, he’s also launched his own record label Forever Kloud Records. He also started a clothing line called Forever Kloud.
His unorthodox 21 savage laid back type of flow, over poppy, melodic beats has established an unbreakable connection with his growing fanbase. He aims to change the industry with his unique sound. He is often compared to mainstream artist, 21 Savage but Lil Kloud separates himself from 21 Savage and says “It’s just my natural tone of voice. I’m from the south that’s how we all talk kinda.” With his success and status, Lil Kloud has felt disloyalty among old friends which he says motivates him to go harder. Seeing beyond the traveling and touring he’s already lived and experienced, Lil Kloud wants to continue building his fan base on Soundcloud, bringing to fans new quality content in other avenues like new music styles.

Lil Kloud doesn’t like to collaborate with other artists, he is open to working with other artists, but he says his style isn’t for everyone. “I don’t collaborate because my style is my style, they way I rap they might think it’s lame or some shit. So to avoid that I don’t really collaborate”
