Grammy-nominated hip-hop artist Lloyd Banks released his new single “Menace (feat. Conway The Machine),” which is currently available to stream on all platforms HERE via Money By Any Means Inc./EMPIRE.
“Menace,” which was produced by Cartune Beatz, is a preview of Banks’ lyrical prowess as he gears up to release his upcoming album, The Course of the Inevitable 2, this summer. In the song, Banks boasts about adding to his legendary reputation and delivering another classic for his legion of fans.
The release of “Menace” nearly coincides with the 1-year anniversary of Banks’ latest album, The Course of the Inevitable, which debuted at No. 84 on the Billboard 200 and included guest appearances from Benny The Butcher, Styles P, Freddie Gibbs, Vado, Roc Marciano, and Sy Ari Da Kid. It signaled Banks’ first full-length album release in 11 years and the first since he dropped The Hunger for More 2 in 2010.
Between each album release, Banks has maintained his consistency as a lyricist and cemented his legacy as the “Punchline King.” The New York native’s string of dominance started when his debut album, The Hunger for More, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and unleashed hits like “On Fire,” “Karma” and “I’m So Fly” en route to earning a Grammy nomination for Best Solo Rap Performance.
As a member of the iconic supergroup, G-Unit, Banks and his counterparts also released two EPs and two studio albums, including the critically-acclaimed, Beg for Mercy, which boasted smash singles like “Stunt 101,” “Wanna Get to Know You,” and more.
