It was announced today (June 24) that Dave would be releasing a new song titled “My 24th Birthday,” a reference to the Moon revolution he took part in earlier this month. The latest release from Dave, similar to his Game Over standout “My 19th Birthday” from 2017, is a reflection of his life so far.
In the wake of the UK Singles chart-topping song “Starlight,” Dave released “My 24th Birthday,” a pensive song that earned him a Gold certification. It follows the release of his sophomore studio album We’re All Alone in This Together, which includes additional contributions from James Blake, Ghetts, Fredo, Stormzy, Giggs, Snoh Aalegra, Wizkid, among others. In the first week of its release, We’re All Alone in This Together has sold 74,000 album equivalent units, making it the most successful album of 2021. Dave’s latest album has crossed the Platinum mark as well as toppled the UK Albums chart a month after its initial arrival.
