Rapper Drakeo The Ruler tragically passed away at the end of last year. As they continue to drop sporadic releases on his behalf, his loved ones and team are ensuring that his legacy and music live on. A new visual for his new project So Cold I Do Em 2 has been released. The official visual for “Whole Lotta Ice” was released over the weekend. This video, which was directed by Drakeo’s frequent collaborator ImNotEvol, shows him unloading his signature flow while enjoying a day with the crew:
The body of work on So Cold I Do Em 2 comprises 29 tracks and features features from names such as ALLBLACK, RjMrLa, Ralfy The Plug, and more. He released three other successful solo albums since his release from prison in November 2020: The Truth Hurts, Ain’t That The Truth and We Know The Truth.
During the Once Upon A Time in LA festival held at the Banc of California Stadium in Exposition Park in December, Drakeo, born Darrell Caldwell, was scheduled to perform, but he was fatally stabbed while backstage.
