Making a debut in the west as a music artist, Germany’s Egzon “Egzxxn” Ademaj is on the rise, and he’s not shy to tell his story in the meantime. Distributed by Roc Nation’s Equity and the Albanian-American label Royal Panther Records, his latest release “Eazy” sparked attention.
“Entertainment is my purpose,” says Egzon. “Whether it’s through comedy or music, the final outcome is the same: to leave the audience with a positive experience.” Growing up he was known for his big personality and addicting energy to be around. Nothing has changed, as his 400,000 followers think so too.
In 2020, he become a viral social media figure (@egzxxn) through his creative content, all while building his music portfolio. His background as an Albanian from Kosovo is a highlight element in his comedy.
“I cannot leave one for the other,” he admits. “Some advise me to pick a path and focus on only one, but it means giving up a part of myself because I am both an artist and comedian.”
In addition to entertainment, Egzon spent 18 years as an award winning Taekwondo athlete, which he now trains others in. “It taught me discipline and drive,” he shares. “I pass this on to my students.”
Entering his “Kobe” year this week, the 24-year-old jumpstart his music career even further, all while merging his natural-born talents. It takes a strong individual in this industry to seamlessly achieve both, but Egzon is a perfect fit.
