Louisana singer/songwriter OutSouf Nu Is bringing real vocals and real emotion in music back with her latest release “Above The Sun”.
This 7-song EP delivers a mature, emotionally driven vibe that you wouldn’t normally expect from someone so young, Nu herself only being 21, but one she delivers effortlessly with her ghostly and childlike voice.
She doesn’t shy away from expressing her desire to be loved and love. She sings of not being blindly in love or being easy to lay down but wanting someone real and solid to stand beside her as she chases her dreams and builds the life she wants.
It ain’t just all love and sex though, tracks like “YSL Freestyle” ft Mijaeee1k definitely show that Nu can talk that talk with the roughest of them. Mijaeee1k adds some very welcome trap flavor and bars to this track and is personally one of my favorites!
